Austin Bristow for Palace Skateboards new Lucien Clarke section
September already? Jeez... Heads up for a new clip from Austin Bristow for Palace Skateboards. 'Laust in Translation' follows previous Austin Bristow releases in so far as technically it's not a Palace Skateboards video but it might as well be. Book-ended with loads of Rory Milanes footage at the start and a Lucien Clarke section (more or less), Laust in Translation is a must for Palace skateboards devotees. Rory Milanes' output just keeps on increasing since his recent (ish) move over to Vans and his opener is lovely. Loads of London lines, including one straight into the pub. Fellow Palace professionals Charlie Birch, Chewy Cannon and Dr Levitation Kyle Wilson all pop up throughout too. (Presumably this means that Chewy has recovered from his knee surgery?) Location-wise we're everywhere from Southsea to Milan, calling in at NYC, London and Paris along the way. As mentioned above, Lucien Clarke ends things off with a solid 3 minutes of lines across the globe. If you didn't already know that he'd switched to the DC footwear team, Austin Bristow's mini banger will clear that up. As both a rider and creative director - expect to see some Lucien-directed power moves from DC soon. Lucien does Lucien, mixing tech ledge lines up with tech gnar bangers further solidifying his position in the top tier of capital 'S' skateboarding's pyramid. Basically, if you like Palace then you'll love this Austin Bristow video. Go peep. In other Vans and Milan related news: Vans Europe recently dropped the latest in their ongoing series of European destruction videos. Buona Compagnia features all manner of European Vans heads such as Chris Pfanner, Sour Solution's Albert Nyberg, London's Helena Long and Black Sheep favourite and recent Madness Skateboards pro Martino Cattaneo to name just a few. Based in and around Milan, this video serves up plenty of Milan train station plaza antics but adds a brace of previously unseen and insane spots dotted around the city too. Well worth a watch.
