Black Country crust, Gabbers on Thames and This Old Ledge hits Flushing Meadows

Oh my God...is that...sun? Finally. Anyhow we're back with a triptych of hot video content to keep you occupied in the shade. First up, the latest instalment in Chris Emery's 'Black Country' series (the 7th to be exact). All the usual cohorts are present: James Woodley, Henry Fox, Ben Broyd and more and as ever, it's a down home crust fest with Wolverhampton's Civic Centre in particular getting a seeing-to. These vids are always great so do yourselves a favour.

Second in command this month is the welcome return of Ted Barrow's high-brow 'This Old Ledge' series. If you're not already familiar with these, they come highly recommended for anybody with an interest in the history and architecture behind some of the most famous spots in the world. This time around, New York (or queens to be exact) Flushing Meadows gets the treatment so you can learn and ooh at classic footage at the same time. Great stuff.

Finally - the team switch nobody was predicting and that nobody really seems to understand but if it means this wrecked thumbed Australian superhero gets paid a bit more to hurl his fragile body at unspeakably grim handrails then so be it. Former Zero pro and contender for part of 2024 (No White Flag) Gabriel 'Gabbers' Summers now rides for Blondey McCoy's brand Thames. Is it a skateboard company? Is it a Dr Who cosplay brand? Who the hell knows but rest assured, Gabriel Summers is their first pro. Looking forwards to seeing what they manage to do together. Performative baked beans all round!
