Chocolate skateboards should need no introduction seeing as its the sister (or brother?) brand to the mighty Girl Skateboards. As a member of the Crailtap family Chocolate has played host to some of most innovative, stylish and influential skaters of all time, along with releasing numerous videos rightly hailed as timeless classics. Founded in 1994, one year after the formation of Girl skateboards itself, Chocolate originally played host to a crew of skaters and associated Crail heads who simply wouldn't fit on the Girl roster. The original squad of Keenan Milton, Chico Brenes, Daniel Castillo, Paulo Diaz, Richard Mulder, Shamil Randle, Gabriel Rodriguez, and Ben Sanchez (many of whom had previously ridden for World Industries brands similarly to the Girl team) was introduced via the inaugural stand-alone Chocolate skateboards video Las Nueve Vidas De Paco in 1995. Directed by Crailtap co-owner Spike Jonze, 'Paco' as it's known, established the cinematic approach that came to be associated with Chocolate Skateboards from its inception. Close to 30 years after its original release this one still, as the kids say, 'bangs'. Feast on the full chunk below.
