Habitat's Brian Delatorre, new DGK video plus Euro Creatures
It's been a while since we've had a new DGK video. And we're not talking a half-arsed web clip here. Zeitgeist is a bonafide full on new DGK video. If you're a fan of the Stevie Williams-led brand then you'll have an idea of what to expect. If not, put some big pants on, fire up the hip hop mixtape and prepare for hella crook variations. This DGK video isn't playing around. Whilst fans of the OGs will be disappointed by the single Josh Kalis line and minimal Stevie, there is still oodles of ridiculously technical street skating to behold. If the last time you paid attention to DGK was in the Lenny Rivas and Kalis full part era - here's a quick catch up. DGK remains true to its roots - there are no frontside inverts in this new DGK video. Thinking about it, there are probably more noseslide nollie flip out variations on this than on The Storm. That ought to give you a flavour. Full part duties are taken up by the likes of Brian Reid, Adriel Parmisano and Will Mazzari, all of whom more than deserve their ups. Montage-wise it seems as though every human on the planet who gets DGK flow has a couple of tricks on this new DGK video. Whilst it might lack something in terms of trick diversity, this is still hugely enjoyable. Plus, you get all the film cutaways and news footage clips befitting DGK's somewhat unique video aesthetic. Basically if you like DGK - you'll love this. Next up is something completely different. From a new DGK video to the latest release from Creature skateboards. Featuring Creature's Swedish representative Ulph Andersson, this one is 4 + minutes of sheer recklessness. Personally I'm a big fan of this guy - you never know whether you're going to get a varial Sal-flip into a hellride hill bomb or a shove-it kickflip over a massive rail. Pure unadulterated not-giving-a-fuck. Have a look. Last but by no means least is the surprise Brian Delatorre part that just dropped. A firm favourite of the GX minded tasteful tech brigade, Dela comes through with trademark steez here. He also once again proves that having gibbon-length arms makes loose shirts look dope. The last trick is banger too...
