Remember when skate videos were almost universally good? Back when more thought went into the editing than 'tricks in ascending order of difficulty set to music'? Well get ready to be transported back to those glory days by this astoundingly good inaugural full-length from HUF. Dedicated to brand founder and legend Keith Hufnagel, (complete with a touching appearance from his son right at the start) this is, for us at least, as close to perfect as a skate video can be. The line up is crazy diverse with Dick Rizzo setting things off and Limosine's Dominic Cummings lookalike Cyrus Bennett closing it off. The filming and spot selection is impeccable - high on the never-seen-before crust and interesting architecture - and the music is fabulous ranging from power metal (Nick Mathews and 'Crom') through to Lee Scratch Perry. What makes Huf Forever so watchable though, aside from the amazing skating and production, are the constant homages to Keith Hufnagel dotted throughout. There are tons of them so skate video geeks will rejoice at the chance to remember some of the greats from Huf's back catalogue.
