Here's something completely different but absolutely worth your time. Culture-for -the-culture from inside Sheffield's current scene. Sheffield's skate history runs deep so there will be numerous spots that you'll recognise immediately, along with also seeing the evident decay in some of the more neglected parts of Sheffield. You want crusty spots? They're right here. In terms of the people in the video, alongside some of the more established Sheff-based heads like Moggins, Shaun Currie, Timmy Garbett, Rasheed Osman and Ronnie Calow are a whole host of new faces possibly unknown to those of you outside of the Sheffield scene. Suffice to say that there's no half-stepping from the young blood with some heavy spots that have been left alone for a decade getting NBDs tossed at them with aplomb. Personal favourites for me were the silky smooth stylings of Jayden Hallows and curtains holder Hasan Media (surely a shoe-in for best skater name ever?). Basically just go watch it. This is real UK skate culture as-it-happens. Big up all involved.
