Kevin Baekkel for Creature Skateboards 'Sever' and Taylor Kirby for ACE trucks

Kevin Baekkel for Creature Skateboards 'Sever' and Taylor Kirby for ACE trucks

The weather's gone to pot and it's dark by 4.30pm. Remind me again why I live in the UK please. Anyhow, onto matters of state: Kevin Baekkel is an absolute lunatic. Those of you who've followed this nutter over the last few years will already know this fact but for those in any doubt, prepare yourselves. Kevin Baekkel's end section on the latest Creature Skateboards release 'Sever' is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the gnarliest video parts ever released. We say this without a hint of hyperbole. This is Geoff Rowley in Sorry, Jamie Thomas in Welcome to Hell, Pat Duffy in Questionable style shit. Virtually every trick is suicidally bonkers. It probably sounds like we're exaggerating but honestly, we are not. Add to this a ridiculously good/gnarly part from Creature veteran Peter Raffin and a bunch of transition-based montages and Creature have served up the goods once again. If Baekkel isn't in the running for this year's SOTY then there's something rotten in the state of Norway (pun intended). Go support this nutter by perusing our recent Creature drop whilst you're at it.

November's second notable video offering comes via ACE Trucks with basically a full part from the criminally underrated Taylor Kirby. Hairball high speed carnage, languid tech gnar and a lot of creative thinking in the streets of LA. Take it from us, you'll love this.
