Based on the super popular adidas silhouette first released as the Mark Gonzales Aloha Super last year, this adidas Aloha Super Wallenberg skate shoe updates that initial release with several nods to the context of Gonz's paradigm-shifting ollie grab down Wallenberg's big four back in 1991. The pink insoles and Scmoofoil logo on the tongue reference both the great man's distinctive art work and the sun-drenched context to Gonz's first big four conquest as seen in probably the greatest skate video every made - the masterful 1991 Blind 'Video Days'. Similarly, the iconic black Three Stripe graphic on the lateral midfoot nods to the less than forgiving black asphalt that composes the floor at Wallenberg itself.
