It's been a while since the last Polar full-length and there's been a number of changes over that period. Riders have left, new pros have been added and Polar mastermind Pontus Alv has stepped back somewhat, leaving this video in the more than capable hands of Sirus F Gahan. Quite the responsibility for Sirus really given the unique vibe and aesthetic of Polar's output and particularly given the fact that in many ways, Polar Skate Co. was birthed through Pontus' pre-Polar films (The Strongest of the Strange and In Search of the Miraculous). Everything is Normal (which is currently being toured around Europe) is a film documenting 6 years of Polar's trips to Japan (between 2017-2023) mainly focusing on their newest pro Shin Sanbongi and new Polar wunderkind Kiki Kakitani, with cameos from Oski, Herrington, Paul Grund, Ibu Sanyang, ex Polar pro Hjalte Halberg and numerous other related heads. The whole video is shot in Japan and features tons of amazing-looking spots that you won't have seen previously. Sirus had a massive task to fulfill here and he smashed it.
