School's out for summer! However, if you're not under 18, a teacher or somebody with kids then that'll probably mean nothing to you but, if you're basking in the glory of 6 weeks off - big up. First up we have a belated posting of Polar Skate Co's latest full-length You Got It My Boy Jamie which focuses around two of Polar's newest recruits - Jamie Platt and Nathan Clancy. As ever with Polar, this video is leagues ahead of most of its contemporaries. Aesthetically coherent, full of nods to skate history and filmed/edited in that undeniably Polar way. For me, this is a real work of genius - you decide for yourselves. Jamie Patt cements his place at the high table for sure and London's Tommy Two-Belts Nathan Clancy comes through with a brilliant part announcing his unique approach to the world. Big up Polar Skate Co.
Next up is another absolute banger courtesy of There skateboards official team welcome section from the amazing Lau Willems. If you're an Instagram geek then you'll have seen her crazy tech manny posts over the last 18 months grow in intensity and with awareness of Lau's skills out there it was only a matter of time until she ended up on a decent board brand. Watch, enjoy, practise your heelflip nose wheelies!
And finally, get prepared to see probably the highest ledges in history get skated. Following in Tiago Lemos' footsteps a new challenger has appeared in the form of the surprisingly diminutive Gui Silva. I can't explain how explosive his pop is - just watch it and be shocked.
