Skatepal, Hockey IV and PJ Ladd sightings

Skatepal, Hockey IV and PJ Ladd sightings

Welcome back. It's still sunny. Yes. First up is a very timely reminder of the brilliant and more-crucial-than-ever work of the non-profit organisation Skatepal. Scroll up to revisit the eye-opening Isle x Skatepal: Pieces of Palestine (2017) featuring Skatepal volunteer and Welsh legend Chris Jones, alongside his then-Isle skateboards team mates (Casper Brooker, Nick Jensen, etc). The crew, accompanied by Jacob 'Atlantic Drift' Harris, take in Palestinan cities Ramallah, Nablus and Asira Al-Shamaliya, the ensuing film is a sobering reminder of the shared humanity that unites us, regardless of adversities. Have a watch and then visit the Skatepal website to find out more about what they do and how you can help. When you've done that, it's worth reading the accompanying article from Free Skate Mag back in 2017 was this video was released originally. To tie-in with the above: we've just started stocking some Skatepal pieces knowing that every penny they make is spent in a righteous manner trying to bring hope to a place that needs it more than ever. Peep the range via the image below.

On a completely alternate tip: AVE-piloted Hockey skateboards just dropped a new 32 minute video. Yes, Ben Kadow has footage and yes, Kevin Rodrigues does too. Behold the tech goths.

Finally, on another tangent - it felt compulsory to post this one too because regardless what everyone might say in public, we all fall into the Youtuber universe on the sly. This one has lots of Dan Corrigan talking, offset by a now-vintage PJ Ladd destroying a random skatepark. Enjoy!
