Our friend Sam Parker was sadly involved in a serious roadside collision earlier this year.   Since July, Sam has undergone numerous brain surgeries at the Salford Royal Hospital, drifting in and out of consciousness for the past few months although, thankfully, it appears thats Sam's hospital treatment is coming to an end.   Although there's still a long way to go, hopefully he will be on the the road to recovery very soon so to help Sam a group of his friends have organised the Slam For Sam Halloween Jam at The Pumpcage to help raise money for Sam and his family to cover the cost of any additional healthcare, physiotherapy or just some funds for Sam to buy something to enjoy.   The skate jam takes place on Saturday October 28th, in the wooden section of The Cage, with trick competitions, best costume awards, a stinkbug challenge, prizes, music, beers for the over 18s, lap races and a mystery guest! There will be a £5 entry donation for the day with all proceeds going to towards Sam and his family.
