April is here and (so far at least) is delivering sunshine, dry weather and a brace of New Balance Numeric related content. Hold tight everybody, winter has almost left the building, we promise. First up is the third full-length (or 'a third of a full video') from Sour Solution, the home of some of the most underrated skaters in the world and a brand that always delivers when it comes to spots, creativity and footage. Lots of excellent moments in this one set to Swedish prog rock and filmed at spots you've never been to but want to skate now. Gustav Tønnesen, Barney Page, Nisse Ingemarsson and the newer Sour heads - everyone kills it with deep skateboard thinking. Impeccable filming and editing too. Go watch it right now.
Next up, more European New Balance action courtesy of Reading to MCR to Denmark head Dom Henry. Press play on this Bubble Skate Mag captained number and see Dom, (accompanied by fellow winter enthusiasts) hitting up Copenhagen's plethora of otherworldly looking spots whilst the deep winter descends. Basically, the up to date version of Blueprint's old 'We thrive on cold winters' mantra. Tasteful skateboarding in multiple layers. Bravo...
Next up is a new and very enjoyable release from DC Skateboarding. Featuring a brace of their American, European and Japanese riders and shot entirely in the majestic city of Marseilles, this is absolutely worth the effort. Amazing spots, great skating from Palace Skateboards rider Jahmir Brown and a truly exceptional end section from Japanese head Shintaro Hongo. More content like this please DC! When you're done with that, have a watch of the recent Skateboarder's Companion piece with Jahmir too - it's ace.
Lastly, but by no means least, comes 'Flavour Town', the latest release from Leeds-based clothing brand Threadcount. Featuring a brace of current and new generation Leeds rippers, this is an eleven minute glimpse into what happening on the other side of the M62. Special mentions have to go out to the always impressive Fred Ryan and to Welcome skate store worker and all-round ripper Josh Blasutto who quite rightly bags last part - ride on nosegrind pop outs with death defying drops below? Are you mad mush? Excellent work Yorkshire.
