Bones Bearings started in the 1980's by George Powell and Stacy Peralta as part of Powell Peralta. Bones Bearings was born due to a gap in the market for quality skate bearings. After a long search across the globe they found a bearing manufacturer in Switzerland.

After months of tweaking the bearings adding removable shields, adjusting tolerances & creating a new lubricant known as 'Bones Speed Cream' this fine bearing produced the fastest, most sought after, competition successful bearing in the history of skateboarding.
