Creature skateboards first originated within the NHS skateboards distribution company. The launch of this company was by no means successful however, as it took from its inception in 1994 to the early 2000s for it to become available to the public and hit the shelves of skate shops.

Nowadays, however creature is a highly established brand producing a multitude of products including decks apparel and completes. The brand is defined by its signature art style, most iconically its creature logo and the "monster" inspired artwork that is featured throught all of its products.
