Primitive Skateboards established in 2014 under the store and clothing line fronted by Paul Rodriguez A.K.A P-Rod. Paul Rodreguez decided to go his own way in 2014 and Primitive skateboards was formed.

The current skate team includes owner Paul Rodriguez, Tiago Lemos, Miles Silvas, Carlos Ribiero, Wade Desarmo, Spencer Hamilton and Franky Villani.
