Real Skateboards started out in San Francisco, CA by skateboarding pioneers Tommy Guerrero and Jim Thiebaud. Real is owned by Deluxe distribution alongside Anti-Hero Skateboards.

Over the years Real Skateboards have made amazing skateboard videos such as "Real to Reel, Roll Forever and Since Day One featuring Real skate Pro's Chima Ferguson, Dennis Busenitz, Max Schaaf, Peter Ramondetta, Ishod Wair, Kyle Walker, Mason Silva, Zion Wright and Nicole Hause.

In 2021 Black Sheep's very Own Harry Lintell turned Pro for Real Skateboards and became their first ever Uk Pro Skateboarder.
